Hear from our previous Interns
“I have had so much fun at IntoUniversity. More importantly, I have gained invaluable experience with children. It has been great planning and organising various activities for the students. I have enjoyed supporting children academically, consequently I have left many sessions feeling very satisfied. Furthermore, the staff are great to volunteer with; they are the friendliest people I have ever come across!”
- Khairunnisa Khambiye, Youth Development Intern at IntoUniversity Bow
"The position was challenging and rewarding and exceeded all my expectations. This internship was a great experience for me because everyone involved was so receptive to my needs and interests. There was room for me to follow up on my specific areas of interest as well as complete the tasks required on a daily basis. Though the role required a lot of independence, I was always fully supported. I look back fondly on my time with IntoUniversity and Imperial College and know that it has helped to guide my future career developments"
- Aisha Lalloo, University Liaison Intern
“Volunteering at IntoUniversity has provided me with a real insight into the education charity sector and has helped confirm what I’d like to do in the future. My time has been packed with helping to run FOCUS and academic support and I have enjoyed every minute of it, especially volunteering with primary school pupils.”
- Farah Fazal, Youth Development Intern at IntoUniversity Brent
"My internship at IntoUniversity has been a fantastic experience so far. From day one, I was made to feel as part of the team and I knew my support here was going to be valued. I have been given the freedom to volunteer independently, take on projects and develop ideas into fully running workshops with the help and guidance of my centre leader. The internship is well structured and planned."
- Miles Debrah, Youth Development Intern at IntoUniversity Bow
