The fifth IntoUniversity centre opened in November 2009, and since then has partnered with a number of schools in the area to deliver IntoUniversity's Primary and Secondary FOCUS programmes.
Last year, IU Haringey North registered 131 students for Academic Support, ran FOCUS activities with 929 young people and introduced 20 mentoring pairs.
Centre Update
IU Haringey North delivered two Shakespeare and Scriptwriting FOCUS Weeks with the Willows on Broadwater Primary School in which children wrote, acted and filmed scenes for a modern adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The centre ran a very successful Buddy Day at Imperial College with the students from Northumberland Park Community School, with positive feedback from students and teachers.
